Baidu Japan Inc, the sub sidiary of China\u2019s largest search engine, has released CryptoSimeji, which uses the Japanese keyboard app Simeji\u2019s popular mushroom logo as the IP prototype, combined with kaomoji culture, to create the world\u2019s first kaomoji avatar NFT project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here’s what we know:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Officially launched in August 2022, all 10,000 of the project\u2019s NFTs sold out within hours \u2013 resulting in a transaction volume of more than $1.1 million, an increase of 166.68%. CryptoSimeji has made a big impact on both Japan’s and overseas countries\u2019 NFT communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The CryptoSimeji website is available in English, Japanese, and Chinese and on Discord.
