TRON founder Justin Sun has secured a significant legal victory in the People’s Court of China, concluding a two-year defamation battle against the Chongqing Business Media Group. The court ruled in Sun’s favor, citing the Media’s dissemination of false and unverified information that damaged Sun’s reputation.
The lawsuit stemmed from a March 2022 article on eastmoney.com, alleging Sun’s involvement in insider trading, evasion of ICO bans, and other illicit activities. The court found these claims baseless and unsupported by evidence.
